About Me
Hi! My name is Allie Bourgeois. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Texas A&M University (whoop!). I recently completed my dietetic internship at Iowa State University and became a Registered Dietitian. I am currently working as a Clinical Dietitian at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas.

My mission in life is to help others discover the joy in food and find their unique balance to live out a happy and healthy life.
Experience & Leadership
April 2018 - May 2019
I was the Dietetic Coordinator at Generations Center for Senior Living. I work with the Registered Dietitians and health care team to ensure the patients receive optimal care and an adequate diet. My main responsibilities were conducting food preference interviews, reporting residents average meal intakes, and updating and printing daily meal tickets.
August 2017 - May 2019
I also worked at CHI St. Joseph rehabilitation facility as a Wellness Tech. Here, I instructed fitness classes such as water aerobics, strength and toning, and balance. This experience helped me grow my communication and time management skills.
April 2018 - October 2018
I served as Marketing Co-Chair for the Texas A&M University Dietetic Internship Preparation Workshop (DIPW). I designed promotional campaigns to recruit over 200 attendees in 6 months. This required me to organize meetings, create a social media posting schedule, and distribute team tasks efficiently.
Summer of 2018
During the Summer of 2018, I volunteered on a Living Water International mission trip in Guatemala. On this trip I aided in drilling a freshwater well and taught health and hygiene classes to over 3,000 impoverished villagers.
Certifications
I am CPR, BLS, Blood-borne Pathogen certified. I am also an ANSI Accredited Certified Professional Food Manager.
